CSST Safety Information
It has come to the attention of the Township that some installations of corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) for gas piping in residential buildings may be a fire risk in the event of a lightning strike. Residents that had CSST installed prior to November, 2008 may be at risk. If a resident is unsure of their CSST installation, a qualified electrician should be consulted.
